LFA has had so much help from so many people. There are so many thanks to be
given or everyone trying to further sexual abuse education. Below are only a few, and I wish I could give more than just a thanks.
Holly Chandler and Associates
I would like to thank everyone at Be A Child’s Hero Network. Their dedication to child protection shines through in the information given to the public. Their inside knowledge of sex offenders allows for prevention instead of intervention. They have inspired me in many ways, and continue to add so much to the field. They also put up with me, and my many questions. Great job guys.
Dee Claypool
Dee inspired to me create a new look for my site. Furthermore, she took the time to create my background and banner. She gave me the dos and don’ts on web site design. She also put with me, and my many questions. She was also kind enough to let me publish her article on Night Terrors here at LFA.
Rodney Smith and Wisdom Publishing
Thanks to Rodney, people can come here to LFA and learn about dealing with Self-Abuse, and all the negative aspects of the effects of abuse. Survivors always carry so much guilt and shame, and through Wisdom Publishing LFA is now able to offer guidance in these areas.
Cliff Ewing
Cliff is a graphic designer who took me on free of charge, and created excellent award graphics for LFA’s award program. He truly offered everything he had. He was determined to make graphics that I would be happy with. I truly appreciate every second he spent helping LFA.
Cheryl Landy
Cheryl put together an amazing list to help teach nonviolence to children. She was kind enough to make the list public domain in hopes that it will help children all over the world. She did a wonderful job, and the list is amazing.
PCAA
Prevent Child Abuse America is a wonderful organization. They provided me with an extremely well documented fact sheet on the sexual abuse of boys. It is clear and concise and I learned a lot and was able to apply it to my life.
Jordan Riak
The founder of nospank.net. He has worked tirelessly to provide information on the dangers of spanking children. He also let me include an excellent excerpt on sexual molestation and spanking into The Wraith of Thor; Article Four. He is constantly updating his site, and lets you know via mailing list.
Mike Lew
Mike runs workshops for Professionals in the area of child abuse i.e. counselors etc... Though I have never attended, his web site says it all. It is a great help to all who attend. I appreciate him sending me his schedule as it comes out. Furthermore, I am able to publish it to all who visit my site.
John Massam
He specializes in clergy abuse. He took time out of his busy day to provide a link on my site to the clergy abuse tracker. Many visitors of LFA begin on the clergy abuse page (WOT: Article Two). I appreciate his addition to LFA.
Bryant Harper
The founder of codeamber.org. For those of you with web sites, if you do not have the code amber ticker, get one. Bryant is helping save children in an exquisite way. I am happy to have the ability to have the code amber ticker on my site.
Ken Quinn
Ken emailed me one day notifying that he had added a link to my site on his. I appreciated this, but when I visited his site is when the thank you’s started. His site is all about female offenders. This topic is not discussed as often as all others, and I appreciate him going out on a limb to educate the public about the topic.
Steve from Survivors Swindon
He has inspired my local chapter of LFA. He always organizes a survivor’s march for everyone in his area. I think that is simply brilliant. One day I plan on the same thing. Thanks to Steve for being one heck of a survivor.
Jim Hopper
He has given me permission to use his vast bank of knowledge to help LFA educate others. He specializes in the sexual abuse of boys. If you have never read his work, I strong suggest you do.
The Gale Group
Without this organization I would not have so many empirical journals to help with my research. They were quick, and very responsive. I owe a lot to them.
